As a new resource for TablePress users, a new “First Steps with TablePress” onboarding guide is now available as part of the plugin’s documentation. The six-part “getting started” tutorial introduces the core features of TablePress, explains how to use them step by step, and gives examples and recommendations.
Depending on how experienced a user already is with TablePress, these “First Steps” are a great way to get started with the basics, but they also to deepen the experience and expertise with the resources they provide. The available topics are:
- Introduction to TablePress, Installation, Updates, and Deinstallation
- Create and Display Your First Table
- Make Your Table Interactive
- Control How Your Table Looks and Behaves
- Import Existing Tables into TablePress
- Make Your Table Match Your Website
New users that first install TablePress on their WordPress site and opt-in to sharing their contact information will also receive this introduction as an email series, with one email per day, allowing them to follow along at their own pace.
