# Privacy Policy

Protecting your privacy is our priority. This page explains how the personal information
we collect through this website ([tablepress.org](https://tablepress.org/)) will
be treated. Since we are not lawyers, we’ll provide this information in familiar
FAQ style.

## Who are you?

We are TablePress Software GmbH, a software development company in Magdeburg, Germany.
We develop the popular WordPress table plugin [TablePress](https://wordpress.org/plugins/tablepress/).

## What information do you store?

We store some meta information about your visit on this website in our server’s 
log files, including the time stamp, the origin IP address, and the user agent (
browser) of your request. Also, third party services may collect information about
website visitors, also via co-called “Cookies”. Payment, licensing, and billing 
information will be stored by [Freemius, Inc.,](https://freemius.com/privacy/) the
Merchant of Record (MoR) for all purchases. For improved security and performance,
we use [Cloudflare](https://cloudflare.com/)‘s CDN network. Emails can be received
or sent via [Google Workspace](http://workspace.google.com/), [SendGrid](https://sendgrid.com/),
or [Amazon SES](https://aws.amazon.com/ses/).

## Where does the information go?

The log files for our website are stored on our servers, which is hosted by [IONOS SE](https://ionos.de/)
and [Oracle Corp.](https://cloud.oracle.com/) in Germany, in the European Union.
Freemius, Google, SendGrid, and Amazon host the information on their respective 
servers, which are located in datacenters in Europe and/or the United States. Cloudflare
stores the information on their world-wide CDN network of servers. We do not have
influence on the location of these servers.

## How long do you keep the information?

We don’t set a particular time limit on storing information because we need it for
future reference or even for legal reasons. If you want your information to be removed
from our database, please contact us. We will remove it anytime there are concerns
about your privacy.

## Do you share the information with other parties?

No, we will not share your information with any third party outside of our organisation,
unless it should be shared for fulfilling your request or unless we are required
to share it by law.
