# Turn off “Table Features for Site Visitors” for new tables

**Download**:
[Turn off DataTables for new tables Extension 1.0](https://tablepress.org/download/extension/tablepress-datatables-off-new-tables.zip?output_format=md)

If you will be using many tables on your site, in which you don’t want to use the“
Table Features for Site Visitors” (like sorting, search, and pagination), or in
which this is not possible, because the tables will contain combined cells, it might
save you some time if newly added or newly imported tables come with the “Enable
Visitor Features” checkbox turned off.

That’s what this Extension will do. To use it, download, install, and activate it
as a regular WordPress plugin. After that, all new tables will have the “Table Features
for Site Visitors” turned off by default. They can of course be enabled by just
checking the “Enable Visitor Features” checkbox on a table’s “Edit” screen.

If this Extension is useful for you, please check out the available [TablePress Premium features](https://tablepress.org/modules/)
and consider getting a [Premium license plan](https://tablepress.org/pricing/),
which bring even more features for you and your site visitors. Thank you!
